I Need A Wedding Band!

Finding the right wedding band can be a daunting task. There's a lot of information out there and even more artists to choose from. Music is an integral part of your day and it's something you want to get right! Here are six fantastic wedding bands to help get you started...


1. John Bull and The Bandits


John Bull and The Bandits have been performing at weddings and events for the last ten years. Their live show is incredible and leans towards rock n roll, blues and a touch of Americana. Sing a long hits and undisputed classics are woven into a set list that spans the decades and the continents. An original act in their own right these guys have supported Ronnie Wood at The Hammersmith Apollo, played at The Albert Hall and performed at Glastonbury...



2. Old Dirty Brasstards


If you're looking for something a little different you might consider Old Dirty Brasstards. A 10-piece horn ensemble that will quiet literally blow you away. These guys regularly perform at the London Blues Kitchens, West End Musicals and at well known festivals up and down the country. Over the years they have reimagined the biggest pop hits of the day in brass format, developed a loyal fan base and become a hugely popular wedding band.


3. Sonic and The Boombox


If the 90's are your jam then look no further. Sonic and The Boombox will guide you through the greatest hits of the greatest decade. Brit pop classics and spine tingling anthems you haven't sung since sneaking into the local nightclub with a fake ID. It goes without saying the players themselves are outstanding musicians. When they're not rocking weddings up and down the country they can be found playing in the biggest West End Musical productions of the day...


4. The Soul Ensemble


Soul and Motown are ever popular genres for weddings and with good reason. The songs are incredible, timeless and perfect for a whole lot of dancing. Few bands perform this style better than The Soul Ensemble. A group of consummate musicians that will leave your guests with sore feet and hankering for an encore... and another encore... and another... you get the idea.


5. Hot House Jazz

Not all weddings are alike. A lot of clients we work with forgo the more traditional sing along band in favour of a more understated live music element. Hot House Jazz fulfil this role perfectly. 6. DJ's


Of course not everybody wants a band. A lot of our clients have limited space in their chosen venue or are simply looking to keep a lid on the budget. A DJ is a fantastic alternative to a live act and will have your guests singing and dancing in equal measure.
